<p class="Paragraph"><help:to-be-embedded Eid="ole" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:help-text value="visible">Choose this command to select an OLE object to embed it into your document. <help:popup Id="65619" Eid="ole">OLE</help:popup> objects are <help:popup Id="65619" Eid="objekt">objects</help:popup> which can be linked or embedded to a target document.</help:help-text></help:to-be-embedded></p>
<p class="Paragraph">OLE objects belonging to the document are kept in the memory to speed up display of the document. Choose <help:link Id="68529" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><span class="T1">Tools - Options - <help:productname>%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> - Memory</span></help:link> to limit the maximum number of objects in the memory.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">OLE objects cannot be inserted or moved to other applications via the clipboard or drag & drop in or out of <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname>. On the other side, OLE objects can be inserted in <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> but they loose their link. That means you will still be able to edit them with a double click but you won't be able to update them when the source changes.</p>
